Ingredients for 2 people:
- 150-200 g rice noodles
- 525ml Organic Beef Bone Broth for Pho Bo OR Organic Beef & Chicken Bone Broth for Pho
- Fish Sauce Royal
- Mango Drop Seasoning Sauce
- 1 onion
- Salt
- pinch of sugar
- A handful of herbs (e.g. Thai basil, mint, Vietnamese long coriander)
- 100g steak (beef), cut into thin strips
- 100g of topside beef, cut into thin slices
- 1-2 chilies, cut into fine rings
- Rungs (optional)
- lime wedges
ZUBEREITUNG
- Soak the rice noodles in cold water for 15-20 minutes until soft. Then drain.
- Cut the onion into thin strips and sprinkle with a pinch each of salt and sugar. Let it sit for 10 minutes to allow the onion flavor to mellow.
- Tear the herbs (Thai basil, mint, Vietnamese long coriander) into bite-sized pieces and set aside.
- Cut the steak into thin strips and the topside into thin slices.
- The chilies are cut into thin rings.
- Heat the pho broth in a pot - do not boil.
- Cook the rice noodles in lightly salted water, drain, and divide them among the bowls. Then pour the hot broth over them.
- Top with the prepared toppings: steak strips, slices of beef brisket, onions, herbs and chilies.
- Depending on taste, sprouts can also be added to the bowls.
- Serve with Fish Sauce Royale, Mango Drop and 1-2 lime wedges for individual seasoning.
