This bowl is the epitome of comfort food with an Asian twist: flavorful sushi rice meets crisp vegetables, a creamy fried egg, and fiery toppings. Perfect for a quick, healthy lunch or dinner – completely fish-free, but bursting with flavor!
Ingredients for 2 people:
- 500g of ready-made sushi rice (see HOW TO SUSHI RICE in the recipes)
- 130g edamame (precooked or frozen, thawed)
- 100g kimchi
- 2 small Pak Choi
- 2 eggs
- 1 small leek (optional)
- A few leaves of Thai basil (optional)
- A little oil for frying
- 2 tbsp Fuzhi Sweet Soya Sauce (optional: regular soy sauce)
- Topping: Gomasio & Spicy Chili Crunch
- Japanese mayonnaise to taste

- Stir-fry the vegetables: Heat a little oil in a pan. Halve the pak choi lengthwise and add it to the pan along with the edamame, leek, and Thai basil. Stir-fry briefly, then season with gomasio. Add the kimchi and deglaze with 2 tablespoons of soy sauce.
- Fry the eggs: In a second pan, fry 2 eggs and season with a little gomasio.
- To serve: Divide the cooked sushi rice between two bowls. Top with the stir-fried vegetables and kimchi. Place a fried egg on top of each.
- Toppings: Garnish with Spicy Chili Crunch and Japanese mayonnaise – as much as you like.
