A classic from Grandma's kitchen – with a little spicy upgrade ;) It's ready in a flash and guaranteed to turn out perfectly every time. A little tip: It's super easy to make in a wok.
Ingredients for 2 people:
- 1 bottle of organic bone broth, free-range chicken, Pur&Paleo
- 2 chicken thighs (have your trusted butcher bone them for you)
- Salt & pepper
- 200g mushrooms
- 100g Green Peas
- 2 small carrots
- 1 shallot
- 1-2 tablespoons of flour
- 100g butter
- 1 cup of cream or 1 tablespoon of almond butter
- Organic Spicy Chili Crunch (as a topping, to taste)
ZUBEREITUNG
- Cut the chicken into small pieces, briefly stir-fry it in a wok with a good pinch of salt and pepper, then remove it from the pan. In the same wok, briefly stir-fry the chopped shallots, mushrooms, and carrots. Add the butter and let it melt, then sprinkle in the flour and stir well to make a roux. Stir in the broth, add the cream, and let everything simmer for 5 minutes. Add the green peas and the chicken back in, and let it simmer for another 5 minutes. Serve everything in a bowl with rice, and for those feeling adventurous, drizzle on a little spicy chili crunch – but shhh! Don't tell Grandma. Grandma's classic dish with a modern twist is ready! ;)
